My love for jewellery began at Stellenbosch University where I studied a BA fine Art (Jewellery and Metal Techniques) and in 2016 completed a internship  at Liz Loubser Designer Jeweller in Johannesburg.  After this, drawing on inspirations from my diverse South African familial heritage, I was inspired to launch Mapula Designer jeweller (2016).

Why its called

​

Mapula Designer Jeweller is located near Tzaneen, Limpopo. I specialise in personalised jewellery, including wedding and engagement rings, necklaces, earrings, brooches and bespoke luxury objects. I can specially designed pieces to meet my clients' requirements and budget. My jewellery is handmade to quality standards and we use various semi-precious stones, diamonds, gold, silver and platinum. I also recycle old precious metals as much as I can.

Inspired by contemporary jewellery, I sometimes create one-off pieces that are less commercial. Just to throw myself out of my comfort zone and keep my creativity fresh and exciting.
